True love stories never have endings. ~Richard Bach (Thank you, Bonnie.)
Watched the show 十面埋伏 tonight. It's a show about love, courage, determination, deceptions and sacrifices.
Love is such a strange thing. It always happens when it's not meant to be. It's always with the wrong person; at the wrong time; under the wrong circumstances. Who can control the hand of fate? How can those who make the relationship impossible be blamed? For in a way, they had indirectly made the encounter possible. It's just another twist in fate.
It takes great courage and determination for the ill-fated couple to keep running and escaping the pursuit of all confrontations. As I watched on, I suddenly felt mentally and physically tired of the seemingly never-ending battle. Why not just stop fighting back? Why not just let all the sufferings come to an end? But the end of one's sufferings will be the beginning of another's. That's the irony of life.
The deceptions took me by surprise. Everyone's not what he or she is supposed to be. However, behind all the lies and deceit, love remains the truest.
Every beautiful story has to end with sacrifices. Lovers can never be united. It's painful. It's heartbreaking. It's reality.
Life is afterall, not a fairytale.
